DTF Instructions

Bye, Pre-Press Fuss!

No need for pre-pressing or pre-ironing—moisture removal is purely optional. For best results, follow these 4 easy steps:

1

Perfect Placement

Carefully position your transfer on your item. While flat heat presses often don't need heat-resistant tape, we do recommend this for hats or when using an iron. For added accuracy, use a DTF Alignment Ruler Set.

2

Press with Precision

Apply medium pressure and press your transfer at 310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds. Adjust heat, pressure, and time as needed, but test first and use parchment paper or a protective sheet to avoid damaging the garment.

3

Cool Down and Peel

Let your transfer cool for 15-30 seconds. Once cool, peel from one corner gently. If the design isn't fully transferred, press again with extra pressure and time (+5-10 seconds). Adjust heat in 15°F increments if needed. Multiple presses won't damage the transfer.

4

Final Press & Care

Cover the design with parchment paper or a t-shirt layer and press for 15 seconds to soften and enhance durability. For a glossy finish, use a protective guard sheet.

Care Instructions

Wash the shirt inside out in cold water and dry on low heat or hang dry to prolong its life.
